There's only one way to verify the true identity of posters around here. It's complicated, but goes something like this:

Email Van with your phone number, who will then call Roger_the_Shrubber and pass that number along to him. Shrub will then call IB, who will let him know the password and authentication code, while Shrub gives her the phone number. IB will call Van to get the number, and will then give the password and authentication code to DrD. Shrub will then call DrD, who, if he is able to provide the correct password and authentication code, will then be verified as the real DrD. That's how we determined that IB was Annie, anyway.

It doesn't matter if you had posted there or not. Others had and could see the email address.
